Welcome to Number 1 Transport. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and courier and delivery services operated by Number 1 Transport ("we," "our," or "us"), headquartered in Miami Gardens, Florida.

By accessing our website or placing a delivery order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Number 1 Transport's services — whether online, by phone, or in person — you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable local, state, and federal laws. If you are using our services on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

Number 1 Transport provides professional courier and delivery services throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County, Florida. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Same-day and scheduled courier deliveries for individuals and businesses.
  • Document delivery for law firms, banks, healthcare providers, and corporate clients.
  • Package pickup and delivery for e-commerce sellers and retail businesses.
  • Rush and time-sensitive deliveries across Miami Gardens, Hialeah, Opa-locka, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, and surrounding areas.
  • Recurring delivery route management for commercial clients.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with or without notice.

3. Placing a Delivery Order

When you place a delivery order with us, you agree to the following:

  • You will provide accurate, complete pickup and delivery information including addresses, contact names, and phone numbers.
  • You are the authorized sender of the package or have the sender's permission to arrange the delivery.
  • You accept full responsibility for proper packaging of items to withstand normal handling.
  • You will ensure that someone is available at the delivery address to receive the package, or provide clear instructions for unattended delivery.
  • Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed unless explicitly stated as a guaranteed service.

4. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being shipped or transported through our services:

  • Illegal drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances.
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapons of any kind.
  • Hazardous, flammable, or toxic materials not properly declared and compliant with Florida regulations.
  • Live animals (unless pre-approved in writing by Number 1 Transport).
  • Perishable items without proper packaging and advance notice.
  • Cash, lottery tickets, or negotiable instruments.
  • Any item whose transportation violates applicable local, state, or federal law.

We reserve the right to refuse, inspect, or return any shipment we reasonably suspect contains prohibited items, and to report such shipments to the appropriate authorities. Any costs or damages resulting from shipping prohibited items will be the sender's sole responsibility.

5. Payment & Fees

Payment terms are agreed upon at the time of booking and may include per-delivery pricing, flat-rate packages, or recurring commercial contracts. All quoted rates are subject to change based on distance, package size, weight, and service tier.

  • All fees are due as specified at the time of booking or upon invoice.
  • We accept payment by cash, credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other agreed methods.
  • Commercial accounts may be invoiced weekly or monthly per a signed service agreement.
  • Returned deliveries due to incorrect address information provided by the customer may incur additional fees.
  • Number 1 Transport reserves the right to add surcharges for deliveries to locations outside our standard service areas.

6. Cancellations & Modifications

Orders may be cancelled or modified by contacting us at 786-426-6250 or support@number1transport.com before a driver has been dispatched for your pickup.

  • Cancellations made before dispatch: No charge.
  • Cancellations made after a driver has been dispatched may incur a partial service fee.
  • Modifications to delivery address after dispatch may incur additional mileage fees.
  • Failed deliveries due to recipient unavailability may incur a re-delivery fee.

7. Liability & Claims

Number 1 Transport takes great care in handling all deliveries. However, our liability for loss, damage, or delay of shipments is limited as follows:

  • Our maximum liability for any lost or damaged shipment is limited to the lesser of the actual value of the item or $100 per package, unless additional declared value coverage has been agreed upon in writing prior to shipment.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to: traffic, weather, road closures, civil unrest, or acts of God.
  • We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages arising from late or failed deliveries.
  • Claims for damage or loss must be reported in writing within 48 hours of the delivery attempt or scheduled delivery date.
  • We are not responsible for damages arising from improper packaging by the sender.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Number 1 Transport, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of our services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) any shipment of prohibited items; or (d) your provision of inaccurate or incomplete delivery information.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the exclusive property of Number 1 Transport and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any of our content without our prior written consent.

10. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in that policy.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you hereby consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Before initiating formal legal action, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at the information provided below.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

13. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
